Zeitenlik is an allied military cemetery and World War I memorial in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is the largest military cemetery in Greece containing the graves of 20,000 British, French, Greek, Serbian and Russian soldiers who died in battles on the Salonika Front during World War I. It is located on the site where the Serbian Army’s main hospital was during WWI. It is a solemn part of the city.
The cemetery and memorial are situated north of the city centre. It is around a 20-minute walk away from the city’s train station.
Opening Times and Admission
Zeitenlik is open to the public daily, 8am-7pm. There is no admission fee.
