Yarkon Park is a park in Tel Aviv, Israel. The park was opened in 1973 and it is named after the river that runs through the park. It is a large green area that contains multiple gardens filled with lawns and plant life that are complemented by numerous lakes. The park also contains a rock garden and sports and concert facilities. It is one of the main places to go in the city to enjoy the outdoors, it has something for most people to enjoy.
The park is situated in the outskirts of the city. Take the train to ‘Tel Aviv University’ station which is situated next to the park. You can also get to the park by bus, the 8, 22, 28, 47, 48, 122, 189, 231, 247, 258 and 521 buses all stop at the park.
