General Information

Winter Gardens is a multipurpose events venue in Blackpool, England. The complex was opened in 1878 and is currently owned by the Blackpool Council. The complex contains different areas for different purposes. It has a ballroom, an opera theatre and an arena. It is known for the events it has held over the years, annual events held at the complex include the Blackpool Dance Festival and the World Matchplay Darts. The complex has also held political party conferences. The complex is Grade II listed.

Getting there

Winter Gardens is situated in the North Pier area of Blackpool. It is a short walk away from ‘Blackpool North’ train station. Take the 5, 6, 7 or 11 bus services to ‘Market Street’ which is a short walk from the complex.

The best way to visit the complex is by attending an event, events are listed on the complex’s website and are very frequent throughout the year.
