General Information
Westfalenpark is a large park situated in Dortmund, Germany. The park covers 172 acres of land which is mainly open green areas dissected by footpaths. The park has a beautiful rosarium which is one of the largest of its kind in the world. Another attraction located in the park is the observation tower, that provides stunning views out over the city. A children's playground is also located in the park. The park is an ideal place for a relaxing stroll or a picnic.
Getting there
If travelling by car, the park has its own onsite car parks. You can get to the park by using the U-Bahn, take the U45 or U49 to ‘Westfalenpark’.
Opening Times and Admission
The park is open daily 9am-11pm. There is a small entry fee that is set at 3.50 euros for adults.
