Vlatadon Monastery (Vlatades Monastery) is a monastery in Thessaloniki, Greece. The monastery was built during the 14th century, on the orders of the Empress Anna Palaiologina and named after two monks. It is a Byzantine structure that features on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites in Thessaloniki.
The monastery is situated in the north of the city centre, in the hills that rise above the city. You can get there on foot or by taking a taxi.
Opening Times and Admission
The monastery is open to visitors daily, 07.30am-11 am and 5.30pm-8pm.
