The largest sculpture park by one single artist is the Vigeland Sculpture Park situated in Frogner Park in Oslo, Norway. The park holds around 200 sculptures created by sculptor Gustav Vigeland, who also created the layout of the park; it was built between the years 1939 and 1949. The sculptures are made from bronze, granite and wrought iron. The park is one of the most visited sights in Norway.
If travelling by car follow ring 2 to Majorstuen, parking at the park is limited and will come at a cost. If travelling by public transport take the 20 bus or alternatively take the 12 tram that runs through the city to ‘Vigeland Park’.
Opening Times and Admission
The park is open during daylight hours and is free to all visitors.
