General Information
Vērmanes Garden is a public garden in Riga, Latvia. The picturesque garden is the oldest of its kind in Latvia, it covers 5 hectares. The garden dates back to 1814, although it really became close to what it is today in 1881 when it was expanded. The expansion allowed for the planting of more exotic trees and plants, a lot of which you still see today.
