The Venetian Pool is a historic public swimming pool situated near Miami, USA. The pool was opened in 1924 in an abandoned coral rock quarry on the designs of Phineas Paist and Denman Fink. The area around the pool was created to a Mediterranean style within the already existing coral rocks. The pool is one of the largest freshwater pools in the USA. The complex has waterfalls and natural diving platforms for people to enjoy. It is a popular place in the area for people to enjoy the outdoors as a family.
The pool is situated in the Coral Gables area near Miami. If travelling by car there's an onsite car park at the pool complex. The 56 bus service stops a few minutes walk away.
Opening Times and Admission
The pool is open six days a week, Tuesday to Friday 11am-5,30pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-4.30pm; the pool is closed on Mondays. Admission is set at 13$ for adults and 8$ for children.
