Titanic Studios are situated in Belfast at the Titanic Quarter waterfront regeneration, it is a movie/film studio used by filmmakers and producers. It is one of Europe's largest film studios. The studios have housed such producers as HBO, Playtone and Universal. Its fame was raised by the HBO award-winning television series Game of Thrones. A lot of Game of Thrones sets have been built up, housed and reused at Titanic studios and it also has state of the art green screens for CGI and Thrones uses this a lot, mainly for scenes with Daenerys and the Dragons. It is safe to say that Titanic Studios is the main filming centre for Game of Thrones. Titanic Studios is part of a large regeneration on the Belfast waterfront and one part of the Titanic Quarter which also includes the Titanic Belfast visitor centre, housing and education centres. All sharing the name Titanic after the ship which was built at the location many years back.

Opening Times and Admission
You can visit Titanic Studios, the Titanic Belfast visitor centre runs tours of its whole campus. Access to the studios is limited though due to secrecy, especially when filming; the tours are run at a cost of £18 for entrance.
