General Information
The Tierpark Dählhölzli is a public zoo situated in the Swiss city of Bern. The zoo opened in 1937 and covers 37 acres of land in the city. The zoo is home to over 3,000 animals which include bears, lynx’s, grey wolves, boars and much more. The zoo is involved in many conservation and research projects with other institutions.
Getting there
The zoo is situated in the south of the city. You can get there by taking the 19 bus which stops right outside of the zoo.
Opening Times and Admission
The zoo is open to visitors daily, 9am-5pm. Admission is set at 10CHF for adults and 6 CHF for children.
