General Information

The Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum is a military museum situated in Salisbury, England. The museum is housed in a Grade II listed building known as ‘The Wardrobe’ as it was formerly used to store robes of the Bishop of Salisbury. The museum holds the collection of the Royal Berkshire and the Wiltshire military regiments, it displays items collected from military tours by those regiments. The museum was established in 1982.

Getting there

The museum is a 5-10 minute walk away from ‘Salisbury’ train station. The 68 bus stops a short walk away from the museum.

Opening Times and Admission

The museum is open to visitors six days a week, Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm. Admission is set at £5 for adults and £3 for children.
