The Museum of the Occupation of Riga is a museum that is dedicated to telling the story of the 20th century foreign occupations of Latvia, the museum is situated in Riga, Latvia. The museum was established in 1993, it displays artefacts, documents and other items that tell the story of Latvia being occupied by the USSR and Nazi Germany at different periods in the 20th century. The aim of the museum is to educate.

The museum is situated in the centre of the city and is within walking distance of most other sights of Riga.
Opening Times and Admission
The museum is open daily, 11am-6pm. Admission to the museum is advertised as a voluntary donation, so pay what you feel. Guided tours are available of the museum, these cost 10 euros.
