General Information
The Museum of Flight is an air and space museum located just outside the city of Seattle, USA. The museum, which was established in 1965 has become the largest private air and space museum in the World. The museum displays a large array of aircraft and spacecraft as well as equipment, its exhibits educate people on air travel, space travel and all other aspects of aviation. Aircraft on display include Concorde, Boeing 747 and the world's first fighter plane the Caproni Ca.20. The museum also has programmes for students where they can learn about and build a career in aviation.
Getting there
The museum is situated at the southern end of the King County International Airport, which is just south of Seattle. The best way to get to the museum is by car, with onsite parking available.
Opening Times and Admission
The museum is open daily, 10am-5pm. Admission is set at 24$ for adults, 20$ for seniors and 15$ for children. You can get a discount on those prices if you book online.
