General Information
Temple Bar is an area in the city centre of Dublin, Ireland. The area is promoted as the cultural quarter of the city centre, it is a lively spot with numerous pubs, bars and restaurants that make it the centre for nightlife in the city. Popular venues in the area include the Temple Bar Pub, Oliver St. John Gogarty's and The Auld Dubliner.
Getting there
The area is situated within the city centre of Dublin, there are a few car parks available close to the area. If travelling by bus, take the 27, 49, 56a, 123 or 150 to ‘Dame Street’ which is within the area.
Opening Times and Admission
The area is a public area, it is free to visit and you can access it at any hour of the day.
This bar has become the go to place for tourists to sample an Irish Bar in my opinion, which is not the worst thing and it may create a good atmosphere each night but for a local it's not for me.
