Tel Aviv Museum of Art is an art museum situated in the city of Tel Aviv, Israel. The museum was established in 1932 but it didn't move to its current purpose-built home till 1971. Its building is an interesting artsy structure. It houses an extensive collection of classical and contemporary art, Israeli art, a sculpture garden and a youth wing. As well as a permanent collection the museum has space that houses temporary collections.
The museum is situated in the city centre. It is a short walk away from ‘Tel Aviv-Hashalom’ train station. The 9, 14, 38, 70, 82, 100, 138 and 142 buses all stop close by to the museum.
Opening Times and Admission
The museum is open six days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday 10am-6pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am-9pm and Friday 10am-2pm; Sunday is a weekly day of closure. Entry is free.
