Tate Liverpool is an art gallery and museum based at Albert Docks in Liverpool, it opened in a converted warehouse in 1988. Tate Liverpool has displays of British art dated from the 16th century to the present day, as well as international modern art. The gallery also runs through a schedule of temporary exhibitions throughout the year. The museum is related to the ‘Tate London’ museum.
Situated on the Docks in Liverpool, the museum is accessible by the C4 bus route and also has a train station close by in ‘Liverpool James Street’.

Entry to the museum is free for visitors, although some special exhibits may have a fee to enter.
