St. Volodymyr's Cathedral is an Orthodox cathedral situated in the city of Kiev, Ukraine. It is the mother cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox church. The cathedral was built in the 19th century, it was built to a Neo-Byzantine style. It is well known for its yellow exterior but its interior is also colourfully impressive with an array of art. The main dome of the cathedral stands at a height of 49 metres. The cathedral is a popular place for worship in the city.
The cathedral is situated in the city centre. The 24, 114 and 118 buses all stop outside of the cathedral.
Opening Times and Admission
The cathedral welcomes visitors daily and admission is free.
