General Information
The largest Renaissance church north of the Alps is St Michael’s Church in Munich, Germany. The church was built in the 16th century but has been renovated and restored since it had heavy restorations after it was damaged by bombings in the Second World War. The church has an impressive facade and high altar. It is a Jesuit church.
Getting there
By metro, get off at ‘Karlsplatz’ on the 4 and 5 lines. The church is a 2-minute walk away from one of Munich's major transport hubs ‘Munich-Hauptbahnhof’ which is served by U and S Bahn.

The church is open daily, 8am-7pm.
