St Kilda Beach is a 700-metre long beach situated in the city of Melbourne, Australia. The sandy beach is situated between St Kilda Marina and St Kilda Harbour, it is Melbourne's most famous beach. The beach has a pavilion, sea baths and a pier. The beach is popular with sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts.
The beach is situated 3.7 miles to the south of Melbourne city centre. The closest train station to the beach is ‘Balaclava’ which is a 15-minute walk away. The 3, 12, 16 and 96 buses all travel to the beach.
