General Information

St. Andrew’s Church is a majestic Baroque church situated in the city of Kiev, Ukraine. It is an eye-catching blue, white and gold building that was built between 1747 and 1754, to a design by the Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. The interior of the church is out of bounds to the public but the exterior is well worth seeing, it is also situated on a hill and has a platform on the outside which provides wonderful views out over Kiev.

Getting there

The church is situated in the city centre. You can get there by taking the 62 or 114 buses which both stop a short walk away.

Opening Times and Admission

The interior of the church is out of bounds, the viewing platform at the church is open daily and can be accessed for 10UAH.

A colourful baroque church, probably the most impressive exterior of a religious building in the city in my opinion. Shame the you can't see what it's like inside other than by seeing old photos on the net.
