Silesian Botanical Garden is a botanical garden in Mikolow Mokre near the city of Katowice in Poland. It is one of the largest and most modern botanical gardens in the region of Silesia. It is full of flourishing plant life. The garden also serves as an educational centre that encourages pro-environmental attitudes in the area, as well as scientific information on the biology of the garden. The best way to get to the garden is by car, the garden has an onsite car park for visitor use. The only option when using public transport is to get the train to ‘Mikolow’ from the station the garden is a 20-minute walk away.
Opening Times and Admission
The botanical garden is open daily throughout the year, 7am-6pm Monday to Friday and 9am-6pm Saturday to Sunday. Admission is free to all visitors. The garden has an on-site tea room.
