Ses Salines Natural Park is a natural park situated in Ibiza, Spain. The park is situated between the Island of Ibiza and Formentera but is seen as part of Ibiza. It made up of an area that is 75% sea. On the land, the sea flats that have been a vital part of the trade on and from the island for many years and are a popular attraction. The park also includes a dense area of oceanic Posidonia, which is an important endemic species found only in the Mediterranean. The park is home to thousands of bird species and is popular with bird enthusiasts. Some of the natural park is forbidden for visitors due to the protection of ecosystems. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Getting there
Many boat trips from the mainland of Ibiza run to the natural park. You can also get to some areas by car.
