General Information

Scrabo Tower is a 19th-century lookout tower situated near Belfast in Northern Ireland. The tower was built from 1857-1859 to a Scottish Baronial Revival style, it is named after the hill it stands on Scrabo Hill. It is 41 metres in height and is a local landmark as it can be seen from afar. The tower has an observation platform at its top and the views out over Northern Ireland are spectacular.

Getting there

The tower is situated to the east of Belfast in Newtownards. If travelling by car, there are parking opportunities close to the tower at such places as the golf club.

Opening Times and Admission

The tower is open to visitors daily.
