Roundhay Park is one of Europe's biggest city parks, it is situated in Leeds, England. The park stretches for over 700 acres, containing large open parkland, woodland, lakes and gardens. The park was opened as a public park in 1872 after the land was purchased by the city of Leeds council. The park has a bit of everything for anyone and is the home to plenty of clubs for locals to get involved with.
The park is situated to the north east of Leeds city centre. Buses run to the park from the city centre, get on buses for ‘Roundhay’; the number 2 and 12 buses travel to the park.
