General Information
The Rietberg Museum is an art museum that displays non-European cultures art in Zurich, Switzerland. The museum opened in May 1952, it displays Asian, African, American and Oceanian art. The museum is the third largest in Zurich. The museum also runs fascinating temporary exhibitions alongside its collection.
Getting there
You can reach the museum by tram, take the number 7 tram to the ‘Museum Rietberg’ stop. Alternatively, take the bus, the number 72 stops at the ‘Hügelstrasse’ stop, which is a 5-minute walk to the museum.
Opening Times and Admission
The museum is open six days of the week, Tuesday to Sunday 10am-5pm except for Wednesdays when the museum closes later at 8 pm. Admission is set at 14CHF for adults and 12CHF for concessions, a further small fee exists if you want to enter the exhibitions.
