Revierpark Wischlingen is a park in Dortmund, Germany. The park dates back to the 1970s, it covers over 96 acres of land. It is mainly a large green area that was opened to give the working population of the Ruhr area a peaceful place to rest. The park has wooded areas, meadows and a natural lake. The park in more modern times has become a place for outdoor activities with a forest ropes course, mini-golf course and much more situated in the park. It is the ideal place for a family trip outdoors in Dortmund.
If travelling by car, there is an onsite car park available for visitors. By bus, take the 447 or 465 which both stop at the park. If travelling by S-Bahn, take the S2 to ‘Wischlingen’. By U-Bahn, take the U44 to ‘Poth’ which is a short walk away.
Opening Times and Admission
The park is open seven days a week 8am-10pm except for Fridays and Saturdays when it closes later at 11 pm. Most of the park is free to use but some activities in the park may come at a cost.
