The Regional History Museum is a museum situated in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria. The museum was established in 1928, it is dedicated to the history of Sofia with exhibitions covering the early periods of the city to the 20th-century city. The museum moved to its new permanent home at the impressive former baths building in 2015. Some notable items on display at the museum are a golden carriage clock presented to Prince Ferdinand by Queen Victoria and a reconstructed Neolithic house.
You can get to the museum by taking the metro to ‘Serdika’ which is a short walk away, the M1 and M2 lines stop there.
Opening Times and Admission
The museum is open six days of the week, Tuesday to Sunday 10am-6pm. Admission is set at 6 BGN for adults and 2 BGN for children.
