Real Casino de Murcia is a multipurpose building situated in Murcia, Spain. The building was first opened as a gentlemen's club in 1847 but it was later restored and reopened as a casino. The building is elegantly designed to a Moorish style. It also has a classic English-style library with 20,000 books; a luxurious ballroom with eye-catching chandeliers; and an interesting ladies powder room with a ceiling fresco of cherubs, angels and a winged woman in flames.
Situated in the city centre, the building is within walking distance of most city centre areas. The R14 and R80 buses both stop a short walk away.
Opening Times and Admission
The building is open to the public daily, 10.30am-7pm. You can tour the building for 5 euros.
