The Pratunam Market is a major market in Bangkok, Thailand. The market is made up of retail stores and outdoor stalls that are all focused on one thing, fashion. The market is Thailand's largest clothing market and it is known for its stalls selling items at wholesale price. The market is a thriving area in the city in terms of trade, it is always busy and always colourful with many tight areas filled with stalls selling goods.  

Getting there

Public transport links to the market are good. It is located a short walk from ‘Ratchaprarop’ train station where many trains stop from all parts of the city and beyond. The 13, 17, 54, 62, 72, 74 and 77 buses all stop at the market. The market is also a short walk from the ‘Chit Lom’ underground station.

Opening Times and Admission

The market is open daily, 10am-6pm. It is free to enter the market.
