Poznan Botanical Garden is a botanical garden in the city of Poznan, Poland. The botanical garden was established in 1922 and is owned by Adam Mickiewicz University who use it for educational purposes for their students but also open it up to educate the general public on different plant species. The park covers 22 hectares and has over 7000 different plant species from various climates and ecosystems around the world. The park includes greenhouses and a two storey pavilion that has a gallery. It is a colourful place in the city and offers up a relaxing couple of hours for all.
The garden is situated to the east of the city centre. You can get there by tram or by bus.
Opening Times and Admission
The botanical garden is free for all to visit. It is open daily, 9am-5pm. The garden has a cafe and a shop open for visitors to use.
