The Portal de ses Taules is a fortified gateway situated in Ibiza, Spain. The gateway is the main entrance to the Dalt Vila old city. The gate has the coat of arms of Philip II above it, he was the one who ordered the build of the city walls. The gate was built in the 16th century and during the build Roman statues were found, those statues were used to flank the gate on either side although the current statues are replicas of those that once stood. When passing through the gate you will see that the walls of the old city are two metres thick, this is due to Ibiza being constantly under attack for large periods of history.
The gate is situated at the entrance to Ibiza Old Town. It is a short walk away from the port of Ibiza. You can also get there on the L45 bus.

The gate is free to access as it is situated in a public area.
