Porsche Museum is a museum dedicated to the automobile company Porsche situated in the German city of Stuttgart. The museum is owned by Porsche and it was first established in 1976. It is situated in a purpose built building near the company's headquarters in the city, the building opened in 2009 replacing the old museum building. With over 80 exhibits the museum is thorough in telling the story of the car maker Porsche, its exhibits include old cars, engines and other items.
The museum is situated in the northern area of the city. You can get there by taking the S-Bahn to ‘Stuttgart-Neuwirtshaus’ the S6, S60 and S63 stop there. The 612 bus also travels to the museum.
Opening Times and Admission
The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday 9am-6pm, with the last admission set for 30 minutes before closing. Admission to the museum is set at 8 euros for adults and 4 euros for concessions.
