General Information

Plaza Botero is a public square situated in the city of Medellin, Colombia. The square is bordered by impressive buildings such as the Museum of Antioquia and the Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture. The square is dedicated to Colombian artist Fernando Botero and it opened in 2004. It contains many of Botero’s sculptures which are dotted around the square. It is an interesting place in the city to meet or to take a break.

Getting there

The square is accessible by public transport. ‘Parque Berrio’ metro station is not too far away from the square. The C6010 bus also stops a short walk away.

Opening Times and Admission

The square is a public square, it is free to visit at any hour of any day.
