General Information

The Petersen Automotive Museum is an automotive museum situated in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles, USA. The museum is one of the largest automotive museums in the world and specializes in automobile history and automobile education. The museum opened in 1994 and was opened by Robert Petersen. It has around 100 extravagant cars on display from old to new.

Getting there

If travelling by car there is an onsite car park, this costs around 20$. The other option is to use public transport, both buses and rail services stop at the Petersen.

Opening Times and Admission

The museum is open seven days a week, 9am-6pm. The museum is ticketed and general admission is set at 16$ for adults with discounted concession prices available. The museum has a gift shop and places to eat and drink.

At the partners wishes


Visited at my partners wishes as this is his thing. He really enjoyed it and so we spent most of an afternoon there looking at cars from old to new.
