General Information
Parque Lage is a public park in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The land of the park was formerly the residence of industrialist Enrique Lage, the land was handed over to the people in the 1960s when it became a public park. Most of the park is a subtropical forest but it does still have the mansion of Lage situated in the park, it is used as a cafe where people can sit and enjoy the beautiful green setting with a refreshment.
Getting there
You can get to the park by taking the 101, 105, 109, 112, 309, 409, 416, 419, 439 or 548 buses that stop outside the park.
Opening Times and Admission
The park is a public park, it is free to visit at any hour of any day.
