General Information
Palmengarten is a botanical garden situated in Frankfurt, Germany. It was established in 1871, to the designs of Heinrich Siesmayer and it covers 54 acres of land. The botanical garden was heavily renovated after World War Two to how it stands today. It is a place where nature thrives with numerous climatised greenhouses hosting a large array of plants such as tropical and subtropical plants. It is a wonderful green space in the city.
Getting there
You can get to the garden by taking the U-Bahn to ‘Westend’, the U6 and U7 lines travel there.
Opening Times and Admission
The botanical garden is open 9am-6pm daily. Admission is set at 5 euros for adults and 2 euros for children.
