Ostankino Tower is a television and radio tower in Moscow, Russia, it is owned by the Moscow branch of unitary enterprise Russian TV and Radio Broadcasting Network. Completed in 1967 and standing at a height of 540 metres, it is the tallest free-standing structure in Europe and one of the tallest in the world. The spike-like structure has an observation deck that provides elevated views over Moscow.
You can get to the tower by taking the metro to ‘Teletsentr’. You can also get there by taking the 24, 36, 73, 85, 311 or 379 buses which stop by the tower.
Opening Times and Admission
The observation deck at the tower is open to visitors 10am-9pm daily. Admission is set at 1000Rbl for adults and 500Rbl for students.
