General Information
Omonia Square is a central square in Athens, Greece. The square is one of the oldest in the city and one of the main squares of the city with six roads leading into the square. The square was created in the mid 19th century. The square is pedestrianised and includes a couple of monuments that have been added since its creation.
Getting there
You can get to the square on the metro, take the M1 or M2 lines to ‘Omonia’. The 1, 6, 12, 21, 227 and 500 buses also stop at the square.

The square is a public square, it is free to visit at any hour of any day.
