Neighbourgoods Market is a weekly market in Johannesburg, South Africa. The market runs every Saturday. It is said to have been established first in Cape Town and the concept was then moved to Johannesburg. The outdoor market is mainly a food market, that is filled with stalls selling food sourced locally but there is also stalls selling alcoholic beverages, jewellery and other items. The vibe of the market is created by live music. The market is a good place to experience South African culture and trade. Neighbourgoods is said to attract thousands of people to the city weekly.

Getting there

The market is situated in the city centre. A few minutes walk away from the central train station. The C3 bus also stops near the market.

Opening Times and Admission

The market runs only on a Saturday 9am-3pm. It is free to visit the market.
