General Information
The National Postal Museum is a museum that was opened in 1993 by the National Postal Service and the Smithsonian Institution to display the work of the postal service of the USA and the postal services of different countries around the world. The museum is located in a building that was formerly the main post office of Washington.
Getting there
The National Postal Museum is situated next to a major transport terminal in ‘Union’ station which is served by both Metrorail and train services.
Opening Times and Admission
The Museum is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except December 25. Admission is free.
