The National Palace of Culture is a multipurpose complex situated in Sofia, Bulgaria. Its main purposes are as a conference and exhibition centre but it is also used for other purposes. The complex, which is the largest conference centre in the whole of southern Europe was opened in 1981 after being built to the designs of Alexander Georgiev Barov. It is an octagonal building and is popular with those in the arts industry with many film, music and art events held at the complex.
The complex is situated in the south of the city centre. You can get there by taking the metro to ‘NDK’, the M2 line stops there.
Opening Times and Admission
The complex is open 9am-7pm on weekdays and 10am-7pm on weekends.
