National Museum of the Monumental Certosa di Calci is a natural history museum situated in Pisa, Italy. The museum is housed in the spectacular former monastery building. The museum's collection was established in the 16th century and has grown ever since. The collection covers minerals, fossils and skeletons of zoo animals.
The museum is situated east of the city centre of Pisa. You can get to the museum by bus, the 120 stops close by.
Opening Times and Admission
The museum is open to visitors six days of the week, Tuesday to Sunday. It is open 8.30am-6.30pm except for Sundays when it closes earlier at 12.30pm.
