National Museum of Slovenia is a museum in the city of Ljubljana, Slovenia. It was founded in 1821 but did not move to its current purpose-built Neo-Renaissance building till the 1880s. It is the oldest museum in Slovenia and it specialises in science and Slovenian culture. The museum is home to collections of archaeological artefacts, old coins and banknotes and displays related to the applied arts.
The museum is situated in the city centre of Ljubljana and is within walking distance of most of the city. The 32 bus stops close to the museum.

The museum is open daily 10am-6pm. Admission to the museum is set at 3 euros.
