National Gallery of Slovenia is the national art gallery of Slovenia that is located in its capital city, Ljubljana. The gallery was founded in 1918 but did not move to its current building till 1925. Its current building is an impressive building that was built in the 19th century and has since been expanded to display more of the gallery's collection. The gallery's collection spans from the middle ages to the early 20th century. It has pieces from many notable European artists.
The gallery is situated in the city centre of Ljubljana and is within walking distance of most of the city. The 32 bus stops close to the gallery.
Opening Times and Admission
The gallery is open six days of the week, 10am-8pm Tuesday to Sunday. Admission is set at 10 euros for adults and 5 euros for concessions.
