Opened in 2011, The Museum of Liverpool situated in Liverpool, England is a museum that was opened to show people the history of Liverpool and to tell the story of its people. The museum has a collection of over 6000 objects housed in the purpose-built building at Pier Head.
Getting there
The museum is situated at Pier Head near Albert Dock and Liverpool ONE. If travelling to the museum by bus, ‘Paradise Street’ is the closest stop. By train, ‘Liverpool Lime Street’ is a 20-minute walk away but you can get the train from there to ‘Liverpool James Street’ station which is a 2-minute walk away. If travelling by car, follow the signs for Albert Dock on the M62 motorway, parking is available close to Pier Head at a cost.
Opening Times and Admission
The museum is open daily 10am-5pm. The museum is free for all to enter. There are an onsite cafe and shop.
