General Information
The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia is an art museum that is dedicated to displaying contemporary art, it is situated in Sydney, Australia. The museum opened in 1991 and is housed in the Art Deco former Maritime Services Board building. The museum holds a collection of over 4000 works from Australian artists as well as foreign.
Getting there
The museum is situated on Circular Quay West. The closest bus, train and ferry station is ‘Circular Quay’, the museum is within a five-minute walk from all of these stations.
Opening Times and Admission
The museum is open seven days a week, 10am-5pm except for Wednesdays when the museum closes at 9 pm. The museum is free to enter. There are a cafe and restaurant on site.
