General Information

The Museu de Belles Arts de València or The Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia is an art gallery in Valencia, Spain. The gallery which was established in 1913 is housed in the St. Pius V Palace, which was built in the 17th-18th centuries. The gallery houses over 2000 pieces, most of them dating from the 14th century to the 17th century. The gallery also houses sculptures, archaeological findings and engravings.

Getting there

The Museu de Bellas Arts is accessible by the transport system of Valencia. Take the metro to either the ‘Alameda’ or ‘Pont de Fusta’ stations which are close by. By bus, take the 1, 6, 11, 16, 26, 28, 29, 36, 79 or 95 buses.

Opening Times and Admission

The fine arts museum is open six days a week, Tuesday to Sunday from 10am-8pm. Mondays are a day of closure. Admission to this sight is free. A cafe and shop are both open at the museum.
