General Information
Municipal House is a multipurpose civic centre in Prague, Czech Republic. The building was opened in 1912, it is built to an Art Nouveau architecture style. The building is used as concert hall, ballroom, civic building, and includes cafes and restaurants. The concert hall is a very impressive structure. Many of the rooms in the building are closed to the public and open only for guided tours.
Getting there
If using the metro system of Prague, use line B and get off at ‘Namesti Republiky’. If using the tram system of the city, get on either the 6, 8, 15 or 26 trams to ‘Namesti Republiky‘.
Opening Times and Admission
The best way to see the building is to attend an event there, such as a concert. You can, however, go on a guided tour of the building, these run between 10am-8pm daily and cost 290CZK.
