General Information
Mumbles Pier is a pier that is situated in Swansea, Wales. The pier was built in 1898 and is 255 metres long. The pier was designed by W. Sutcliffe Marsh and promoted by John Jones Jenkins of the Rhondda and Swansea Bay Railway. The pier was refitted in 1987 and renovated in 2012. The pier was used for amusement for many years with an arcade situated on the pier. Today the pier is used for fishing and tourism, with views of the Swansea Bay area available from the pier.
Getting there
If travelling by car, there is a car park a short walk away at ‘Knab Rock’ car park. The 2A, 2B and 3A buses all travel to the Mumbles Pier area.
Opening Times and Admission
The pier is open daily, 10am-10pm and is free to enter and use.
