Mount Coot-tha is a mountain in Brisbane, Australia. The mountain is situated 3.7 miles away from the Brisbane CBD, it is 287 metres in height above sea level. The mountain is popular with tourists with it being visible from the city meaning that the city is also visible from its peak, so it has become popular with hikers, cyclists and tour operators.
The mountain is situated in a remote area with nobody living within its immediate vicinity, so transport options are limited. If you don’t fancy hiring a bike or a long walk to the mountain from the city centre then the only options are driving or catching the bus. If driving, there is some parking available close to the mountain. If travelling by bus, catch the 471 Translink from the city centre.
